Agreed. I have a 50mb/2mb connection, but I’m capped at 50GB per month (except when used between 12am-8am). So downloading 2 games will exceed my cap and cost more money. There are all kinds of these odd scenarios like mine that should preclude any consideration of stream-only console gaming, at least for another decade or so.

Actually, take Dave & Buster’s money, this would be cool in use at a place like that.

Yeah, that last sentence of the article made my opinion of Valve go from a 9/10 to a 20/10. Incredible stuff.

Agreed, as soon as it’s easier to get and use something the legal way, people do that. I started buying music through Amazon MP3 and it’s extremely simple, has no DRM, is cheaper than iTunes, and it feels good to actually own the music. EA on the other hand will never get another dime from me.

If you’re talking about the 19.99 for one app, that’s not what we were talking about.
@wrappedupinbooks mentioned the student deal, which was $19.99 for all Adobe Creative Cloud apps which costs $49.99 for non-students. That sale ended and is now $29.99 for students (click the “Plans for Education” tab for details).

Fantastic idea. I would totally get on board for that. I may only “tip” one or two articles a year, but that’s one or two more than without the option. The crucial thing would be to not make it obnoxious like a lot of gaming servers. Make it available but really subtle.
Edit: make it work with PayPal naturally.

Agreed. Until this moment I had a very negative view with regards to touch-screen laptops (it seemed like just a toy). Having more applications that support touch so well on the web and desktop will ultimately be the selling point for people.

“A dystopian document thriller” is a sub-title I never thought I’d read in a video game trailer.
