I don’t even play Halo… I was just using a generic title to make a point about my use case.
Bet you feel intelligent.
I might get a PS4 as well because I don’t make decisions like a 14 year old based on pointless loyalties.
Remember when Sony lost all that personal data from PSN?

How to play games:
PS4: Insert disc, game loads, start game, play, have to exit game to multi-task.
XBOX ONE: XBOX Play Halo, Play Game, Multitask
Is it worth the DRM and extra price? For me: yes.
It’s almost 2014, I shouldn’t have to use a disc to play a game.

There’s one downside to having discs. What if I don’t want to put a disc in to play a game? The Xbox lets you switch instantly between games and choose from the primary screen which game to play on ANYONEs Xbox with your account.
The fact that DRM is such a big deal to people when MS does it and not when Valve does it shows their hypocrisy.

These comments are so familiar to 2006 when the PS3 came out at a crazy high price. It balanced out during the years though.

Exactly what I was saying. Patents are the only thing preventing free competition. So government enforcing those patents harms the consumer but then everyone blames “capitalism”.

If Intel starts slacking another company will enter the foray if AMD fails. Free markets mean free entry into the market to allow competition. The only monopolies are maintained are with government intervention (e.g. patents) that don’t allow competitors to enter the market.
