I studied Architecture when I was in college. It’s no surprise that architecture students (or people in design in general) like Apple laptops. The Macbook Air is likely the best ultrabook available, and you can install Windows on it if you wish.
It’s a pretty simple choice for me.

Don Mattrick’s constant head shaking is really something. I can’t be the only person that’s noticed this. His speaking style also does not feel natural. And the way he immediately tried to interrupt his interviewer when he mentioned “499” makes him look bad.
Don needs to attend the Steve Jobs School of Business Speaking to know how to come off as a smoother, engaging, and more relaxed person.

I’m a small person and I still find even the smaller smartphones to be uncomfortable when in pockets. I want Apple to create an iPhone Mini.

Nope, I’ve had many hours of use with both controllers and I greatly prefer the 360 controller for its button layout (especially analog stick placement) and ergonomics.

Yeah, Don’s suggestion to get a 360 was not a slight on any consumer. He just said straight up that if you cannot access the Internet, you always have 360 as an option. I didn’t take Don to mean that you’re some poor, degenerate 3rd-world bastard.

I still like Xbox’s analog stick placement better, and the Xbox One controller still looks more ergonomic than the PS4. These companies should never underestimate the importance of the controller. Many people select multi-platform games based on controller preference given all other variables equal.

I don’t play consoles anymore, but from what I’ve seen, they are kind of even. PS4 has a lower price and no restrictions on used games, but the Xbox One has Kinect by default and has a better controller with a more ideal analog stick positioning.
As far as exclusive games, that’s just a matter of preference.

How common is this issue among the general public? It must be something that’s hard-wired into some people, because I’ve never experienced such a thing.

Yeah, I generally never support those kinds of designs with my money, but in the case of the Sphex, I just loved the idea of the mousepad being a “sticky” and having it almost flush with the desk, and there’s nothing else on the market quite like it.
