That’s a very odd you’d say that as I’m currently watching the 9/11 documentary video “The Falling Man”, about the people jumping from the windows of the WTC.
As disturbing as it is, having technology like this during a crisis would put a whole different perspective on the situation.

One thing they didn’t talk about in any depth is that you can use the iPad as a second display to preview your site as you work. That is a killer feature in my book. Often times I take my laptop and iPad with me for a weekend away from my desktop and having to: save, alt tab, then refresh, constantly for small code changes is a pain.
Using the iPad with Coda, you can save your file and the preview will be automatically loaded on your iPad so it takes no more than a quick glance to see if you’re happy with the changes you made.

I don’t know what to tell you, I haven’t experienced that.

If you’re careful with your device then who cares? I have had over 30 smartphones since the G1 was released and have never, ever dropped any of them.

This looks like a cheap PAYG Go-Phone. If that’s your design taste, then good for you.

No, the 4S is a good looking phone and that’s the general consensus. You can think it looks bad, but that’s likely just your fanboyism.
I’m a diehard Android user — have the Galaxy Nexus and Nexus S, and do ROM development. But let me tell you, the iPhone 4 runs circles around every single Android phone I have ever owned when it comes to looks and feeling in your hand. My Nexus S and Galaxy Nexus feel like crappy toys. And please, don’t ramble on about “it survives drops better”, etc. I’m careful and have never dropped a device so that isn’t a benefit to me.

Siri does it, and does it quite well. My girlfriend has a 4S and does use Siri while driving, etc. Text dictation for SMS is great, and “find the nearest mailbox” also works nicely. The basic “call home” or “call dad” commands also work without issue.
I used Siri via Spire Proxy on my iPhone 4 and that too worked just fine.

Because Apple didn’t pre-announcement hype up the iPhone 4S as being some epic device. Moreover, as a Galaxy Nexus user, I simply cannot deny that the iPhone 4/S has a MUCH more appealing design. It is simply a beautiful device that feels awesome in your hand. By comparison, this over hyped phone is ugly, and definitely under-delivered.
Speaking of which, since Android fanboys are all for calling out Apple for ripping Android features off — has anyone taken a peek at S Voice? It even looks like Siri.
Sorry, but this announcement was a disappointment on all fronts. Even the rabid, frothing Android fanboys over at Engadget agree with that statement.
