Softbank actually has a chance of killing the duopoly.
Very, very unlikely. Verizon and AT&T are so dug into the U.S. market that it would take an act of government intervention to weaken them enough for a smaller carrier to take a competitive chunk of the subscriber pie.
I’m interested to see new Sprint vs new T-Mobile. It’ll be a rough battle for 3rd.

No. Windows Phone is sophisticated enough without them. Jolla isn’t really doing anything that Nokia isn’t doing better, IMO.

If you want to stick with Android, I’d say the HTC One.
If you’re open to change, check out a Lumia Windows Phone. Smooth as butter man, you’ll never get the same consistent performance from an Android phone. That being said, Windows Phones are aimed more toward the non-power user who needs a connectivity and light app use device.

Chrome and IE10. Firefox as a last resort if something is refusing to work, or if I need to do cross-browser testing.

Thank you! I had meant to when I originally posted, but it was during when The Verge was having lots of technical problems.

He is extremely talented. I think he has a lot of growth opportunity when it comes to learning about proportion and proper use of space (I’m a designer/developer by trade) and when those skills match his creativity – watch out.

I have a Lumia 920, and my experience is that a) the wireless charger is at least 20% slower, b) my battery doesn’t seem to last as long during the day and c) if you don’t get it on the plate exactly right, it doesn’t charge correctly.
I know (b) is highly subjective, but it definitely feels like I’ve lost a few hours of light use time during the day, though I still generally can last 14+ hours on a charge.
