Getting it doesn’t matter. This won’t matter in sales. It’ll matter in games. If they can show it. The difference will a lot less than people suspect as well. The biggest performance gap between systems in a gen is still the PS2/XBOX. And that mattered very little.

What? You’re not thinking logically. You do have access to play yoru old Xbox 360 games for a fee. It’s call the Xbox 360. They are rumours that there will be small, SOC model of the 360 released at E3. Don Mattrick even hinted at it. So you pay either way. Sony saw the value of not offering backwards compatibility this gen because they were able to resell all their games back to the same people who bought them. Did you complain then?

Smart move not to charge for it. This might be a big step in getting hold outs onto the platform.

Telus? Come on, Canadian carriers please. Rogers’ version of the 920 is penta band and able to be unlocked, but they disable a bunch of features in their custom firmware. It’s criminal.

How is it childish? First their logo was called sterile, then it was too closely reminding people of a monopoly and evil business slant. Now it’s childish. Just like this I guess.

The problem is android handset manufacturers kept using technology they borrowed, rather than owned. And when the owners caught up to them, well. You know.
Android is adopted so often because of the cost of development. The OS is free, you only need to customize it and skin it. HEY, THAT’S CHEAP OH WAIT WE DON’T OWN THAT..

If this is in the same class as the LX5/7, I’ll buy it. I have an LX-5 and the only thing that keeps me from taking it places is that it’s too bulky to fit into pants or jacket pocket.
