I wouldn’t expect it just yet. No matter how much Apple hates another company, its priority is always to provide the best experience for its users.
Is this not changing? Take SIRI for example – Since the iPhone launched in the autumn we’ve had it in beta.. and i think most can agree it’s not always working, limited in geographic coverage and linguistic capability. Looking back it looked like it was a rushed announcement to get the iphone 4S out the door with something to go on about. So, who knows. may be they will do the same with Maps. US only and then … Im just fearing the worst. as somebody in europe, i fear there will be no extended capability like 3D mapping (or whatever it is that they’re going to announce) outside the US
