That’s pretty much my experience too. And frankly I spend 98% of my time in urban/suburban areas, so it’s worth the 2% out of coverage time, to save the $20/month I’m getting. Over the course of a contract, that’s big money.

It’s so black, it’s like how much more black can this be? And the answer is: none. None more black.

AMD needs to pick it up. They’re the ones slacking. Why is Trinity just coming out on a 32nm process? They are behind the times.

My 5 year old 12" laptop has a resolution of 1280×800. I refuse to “upgrade” to a laptop with a resolution lower and on a larger screen than my current one. That’s just horrible.

Do you need the included battery for it to work? Batteries die after awhile. And if i buy a “backup/emergency crank” (especially for $100) I want it to last 10-15 years down the road for me.
I’d rather just have a crank with a micro-USB cord.

I’d agree that ESPN would cost a whole lot more than other channels, but I think if it were that much, you’d see other sports channels pop up at a cheaper rate, which would increase the competition. Which is desperately needed in that area. And on top of it all, you’d see sports contracts drop because ESPN/Disney wouldn’t be able to pay/justify the price to the respective leagues.

So what. Are they saying that this bandwidth was just sitting there unused for the last 20 years just waiting on the X-box to come use it? Such BS. If they alot a certain amount of bandwidth that uses anything IP address related, then this is hogwash and a clear violation.

I just want to know how it runs compared to a Java installation? Or are they not to the point where it can be loaded up as a ROM?

I think it’s a CDMA issue. I used to have Sprint and my device would chug through battery when it was either roaming or had a weak signal. And I’m talking in a few hours it’d go through a quarter of the battery without touching the phone.
From what i read back then, CDMA was much more active in trying to re-retrieve a signal if it ever lost it. So if you’re in an area with weak coverage it’ll flip out and go buck wild trying to connect.

I wish they’d come out with a Plasma with a somewhat non-glossy screen. A lot of people avoid Plasmas because of how glossy they are. I personally don’t mind the glossy screen, but I know of specific instances where that has driven people away.

It is useful because then you can leave your phone in your pocket and the audio will be transmitted over bluetooth. If you use the trusty 3.5mm jack, then you have to take the phone out and plug it in every time. That’s the difference.
