I’m leaning towards the S4… But want to know for sure its a good purchase.

What makes me even consider it is the fact that it will be supported for various ROMs. That and I’m not sure I want to trust Motorola again just yet…

I’m gonna be honest.

You need to convince her to get a phone without a keyboard. Keyboards are going the way for the dodo and OEMs aren’t giving these types of phones the best specs or software updates.

People over look that Apple has a good chunk of market share as well. This is part of the reason for their profits.

HTC has neither market share or profits. It can’t be successful at the rate its going.

If that’s the case, then HTC will be late once again and behind Samsung again.

HTC stating that they plan to stand behind Sense is a sign that they have no grasp of what they need to be doing.

I gotta disagree.

The One, though an excellent device, doesn’t deserve to be a success. HTC made the choices that hurt them and are paying for it now. Their getting their fill of the mistakes made under bad leadership and compromises.

Samsung and the GS4 are getting the fruits of their work as well. Say what you will about copying and marketing and all the other things that Samsung has done to get to the top; they put in the work to do it and their getting a reward for it; justly or not.

HTC will be back on top once they earn it. That involves new marketing. New products like the One. Less flooding of the market with dozens of devices. And maybe…if need be….New leadership.

Why are the iPhone 5 and HTC One more compelling buys over the GS4?

iPhone vs GS4 has true compelling reasons. Size, software, 3rd party acessories. But to me, the compelling reasons to chose the HTC One over the GS4 become mostly cosmetic.

Their both Android phones with basically the same functions software wise. Neither software experience is greater than stock Android except in the area of camera software!

It boils down to the shell surrounding the device. Aluminum vs Plastic. And the informal census over on an AndroidCentral page noted that most people didnt really care about how they felt material wise.

The only problem is this: Verizon DOES have the largest LTE footprint. They have great customer service. And their 3G coverage, though not amazing speed wise, is very widespread.

Their number one for these reasons. When TMobile can cover more of the US than they currently do, more people would switch,
