The capabilities of Media Center can just be built into the system. There will likely be a like tv dvr option or else many people wouldn’t use the tv capabilities.

I agree. I’m not a fan of laugh tracks in TV shows, but I love the experience of a room full of people laughing at a comedy. Home theater does not replace the theater experience and they never will.
