My first Macbook Pro i had was in for repair pretty much monthly i think over the three years of my apple warranty it had near enough every part replaced at least once. My new Macbook Pro I’ve had two years now has been faultless not a problem. My mums macbook is getting onto seven years old now again faultless. Occasionally you can get a unit with no end of problems like i have but for the most part Apple build some of the best electronics available. Also just in response to the the above comment mac laptops are VERY easy to work on everything comes apart with minimal fuss and while spare parts can be a little difficult at times to come across they’re beautifully put together.

16gb suits me just fine only have ever had a storage issue once.

I love my Apple products but i also love my custom PC so I’m pretty unbiased. I have a friend hes a phd student and he hates Apple god forbid the dreaded “a” word comes up in a chat he wont listen to reason all you get is Apple abuse. He’s not the only one and i do find it truly astounding how much abuse Apple get at times even from well educated intellectual people. I try to just ignore it the majority of the time there’s no point lowering yourself.

Mine if im lucky lasts a day i do have my emails pushed to me and wifi on but the battery life is pretty bad.

Since its made from polycarbonate it wont discolor from general hand grease and such so i wouldn’t worry too much.

I do need a front facing camera i would have already bought a Lumia 800 months ago instead of replacing my old iPhone with a 4S if the thing had come with a front camera in the first place. As to screen size im happy with my iPhone screen size for the most part.
