T-Mobile’s newest plans are no contract plans in which the hotspot is included. It breaks down like this:
$50 gets you unlimited talk, text, and web with 500MB of 4G speed, after which it slows down to 3G, but is still unlimited and 500MB of mobile hotspot included.
$60 gets the same as the above, but with up to 2.5GB of 4G speed, slowing down to 3G afterward.
$70 gets you the same as the above but with no cap on 4G speed, meaning it doesn’t slow down.
I used my phone’s hotspot at a meeting a few weeks ago to get a laptop onto the internet.
Again, all this is no contract. Contracts are a thing of the past.
I’m personally not willing to pay what Verizon asks for its service. It’s good service, don’t get me wrong. But, when I can pay $50, $60, or $70 on Tmo AND not be locked into a two year contract AND save thousands of dollars over Verizon and AT&T, I’ll stay put and grab the 925.
