OnLive works great on my 30 meg connection, so I can totally see it being used for graphics processing. Obviously not everyone’s graphics are great so maybe it can be utilised to pre-render future cut scenes, or something along those lines, in the background ready for when you complete your current mission or whatever.

You haven’t actually mentioned where X1 gets its value over PS4. The PS4 is already $100 cheaper so it wins there, I can trade my games so it wins there too, no 24-hour spot checks which adds even more value and I’m not forced to buy a piece of shit kinect that I will never use and to this day.. not a single company has made any interesting use of it or anything similar (eyetoy, kinect 1..).

As for your interesting anecdote on innovating. What exactly has the Xbox innovated on? If all you can answer that with is the Kinect then no thanks, you spend that extra $100 for a glorified microphone while I enjoy my value-for-money-no-bullshit PS4.

Games like Amnesia could fuck with you, make you think you’re hearing voices. When the controller detects you’ve lifted it up to your ears due to the accelerometer it can go quiet. Then you hear a BANG from the TV. Followed by laughter from the controller.

Not all PS1/PS2/PS3 games are available on the PSN. This will allow easier porting as they don’t need to recode for the Vita AND PS4.. just simply port it for Gaikai and you’re set on 3 consoles. Also it saves the need of having to buy a physical PS3 disc when streaming on PS3, especially if it’s cheaper to stream it on Gaikai than it is to buy the disc.

Considering how long the PS4 is going to be out, if the overall goal is to get all PS3 games on their Gaikai service then by the time they discontinue the PS3 it will hurt no one cause they can continue playing all their PS3 games on their PS4 which just sounds fucking perfect.

That’s the hope at least. Maybe even get a few to play on the Vita after they lower the price a bit more.

They said that about kinect, nothing good came, same said about eyetoy, nothing.. playstation eye, nothing.

Sony made it a peripheral because that makes sense. It’s a gimmick, nothing more. Forcing customers to buy a camera (kinect) is bullshit.

PS4 is smaller than the X1. The way I see it, the X1 is Moses’ VCR wheras the PS4 is Moses’ next-gen console that doesn’t impose bullshit DRM restrictions.
