I am sure if Apple wants to throw out their proprietary OS, buy in something inferior, shatter investor confidence, destroy their share price and launch a new product with a tiny profit margin then Nokia will be one of the first companies they speak to, right after HP.
You can see someone is using it, but you can’t determine what they are doing. ‘Are you recording this?’ will be a refrain that a lot of glass users are going to have to deal with.
It does not have an LED to indicate it is recording. They could add one for the commercial version, but it could presumably be easily switched off on a rooted version.
Very weird idea. Presumably the projections are just for atmosphere and serve no functional purpose. Seems like there would be a lot of additional processing too. I would rather just use a proper projecter or rift like device.
It is sometimes important to announce a charitable gift. Gates encourages the various billionaires in the giving pledge to make their pledge public, I think to set an example and publicize the goal. Of course one can give anonymously and still get recognition – see ‘The anonymous donor’ episode in Curb your Enthusiasm.
It would be very funny if the iWatch was just misdirection. Samsung and Microsoft making official statements , restarting previously canned projects and committing budgets just because of an Apple rumour makes them look ridiculous in my opinion.
