When Steve Jobs was around he had control and he was the corporate structure at Apple. Now that he is gone it honestly makes sense to make the company more corporate, it needs a system in place to continue on after Steve.
Apple can still be creative and make great products, corporate structure doesn’t HAVE to reck that.
