Trust me, you need a case. The polycarbonate shell is quite soft. So although it won’t break or crack, it would dent in. Fortunately, I don’t see any of the newer lumias with sim slot doors very near the corners of the device like on the lumia 800 because I dropped my lumia 800 and it landed on one of the corners and I couldn’t close the sim slot. Now I have to replace the whole polycarbonate shell….=(
For me, very high res for a monitor smaller than 19 or 17 inches don’t really need to have such high pixel density. 1920 × 1080 is enough especially when it’ll make most things look very unsharp like movies. And it’s useless in gaming too since most laptop graphics card can’t even push anything higher than 1920 × 1080. However, I hope that these developments would make higher resolution professional monitors cheaper.
