To celebrate its 10 million registered users, the audio sharing and distribution site SoundCloud released its new Story Wheel slideshow functionality today. The service hooks into Instagram and lets you choose which photos you'd like to incorporate into your slideshow. You can order the photos as you like and, of course, you can use a recorded SoundCloud audio file to narrate the show.
SoundCloud's co-founders have put together their own Story Wheel telling the story of the music service's creation. It's an adorable journey though the birth and success of a web start-up, and they end by thanking all ten million users for their support. It's a big milestone for the service, which, following its launch in 2008, passed the five million mark just last summer.

Does this mean I don’t have to go to any more family reunions?

It’s kind of weird not having a status bar telling you have far you are into the slideshow, but in a strange way it humanizes the experience because you don’t know when it’s going to end.
