Motorola Photon 4G comes to Sprint July 31st for $200

Though it's well-equipped, the Motorola Photon 4G wouldn't be spectacularly big news on most carriers. On Sprint, though, it's actually a pretty big deal -- it's the first and only Android phone in the carrier's lineup with global roaming capability, so we imagine that feature alone will be sparking some interesting on launch day. Sprint just sent out pricing and availability details, and you're looking at about a two-week wait to get your hands on this one -- it'll be on shelves July 31st for $199.99 on a two-year contract (members of Sprint's Premier loyalty program will have an opportunity to buy it three days earlier on the 28th). With a 1GHz dual-core processor, Gingerbread out of the box, an 8 megapixel primary cam, and WiMAX, the Photon launches near the top of Sprint's product food chain, so $200 seems reasonable enough... assuming you're eligible for an upgrade, of course.
