That "Puccini" tablet from HTC that's been floating around for a few months has finally been announced for AT&T as the Jetstream, and pretty much all the rumors are true: it offers both HSPA+ and LTE connectivity in addition to Android 3.1 Honeycomb in a 10.1-inch form factor. Notably, AT&T points out that this is the first device to offer the Sense UI on Honeycomb. On the hardware side, you've got a 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor on board, a whopping 8-megapixel camera on back with 1080p video capture capability, and a 1.3-megapixel camera up front for video calls. The Jetstream also features compatibility with the Scribe pen -- first introduced on the Flyer and Evo View 4G -- and it'll be included free of charge "for a limited time."
Look for it starting September 4th nationwide, but it won't be cheap: AT&T's charging $699.99 on a new two-year contract.
