In search of "more wood behind fewer arrows," Google shut down its experimental Labs department back in July, and is continuing late summer cuts with the announcement today that ten more services are getting pruned from the Google quiver. While there aren't any stunning cuts like a Google Docs closing, for example, Image Labeler, Google Fast Flip, Notebook, and Maps API for Flash will all be closing soon. Notably, Google writes that the Google Pack collection and Desktop launcher/search software — both desktop apps — are getting the cut because of a "huge shift from local to cloud-based storage and computing."

Most of the products will be phased out in the coming month, and you can find more detailed closing dates in the full list after the break.
