Samsung Electronics CEO Choi Gee Sung used the IFA stage today to put an emphatic end to speculation of webOS running on Samsung devices. Responding to analysts asking about the possibility that Samsung Electronics might buy webOS from HP, Choi said that the South Korean company would "never" pursue such a deal. Instead, Choi reiterated Samsung's commitment to its homegrown Bada 2.0 OS, a platform that spawned three new devices this week in Berlin. "It’s not right that acquiring an operating system is becoming a fashion," he said, presumably while snapping a finger on pivot and sashaying away. That's two strikes, HP, where to now?
