Judging from what just arrived at the FCC, HTC is starting to round out its accessory lineup with some real gems: first the charm indicator, and now the Conference Speaker. The saucy disk above is a Bluetooth speaker whose main function is pretty self-explanatory, but it will also pair with a second Conference Speaker for stereo music playback. You might remember Sonos's Play:3 music streamer also does the stereo-pairing trick. The closest comparison would have to be the Jawbone Jambox, which we love — both are Bluetooth devices with a mic and a 10-hour battery, though HTC's setup should soundly beat the tiny Jambox's limited stereo separation. The Conference Speaker will pair with up to eight phones, and all the controls for both calls and music will be managed through your handset's UI — except volume which is integrated into the rotating body. As with all FCC stories, we don't know price or release date.
