No surprises here: the long-rumored HTC Evo Design 4G was just officially announced by Sprint, and it's every bit the nice midrange phone we expected it to be. You're looking at Android 2.3 with Sense running on a 1.2GHz single-core processor with a 4-inch qHD display, WiMAX 4G with world phone GSM capabilities, and a unibody case that looks more or less like every other 2011 HTC design. Not bad for $99 on contract, but not exactly at the cutting edge either — the wait for the true successor to the original Evo 4G continues.
