Fujitsu is celebrating the changing seasons with a refresh of its FMV series of computers. The highlight is the 13.3-inch Lifebook SH76/E which keeps the DVD drive while being 23.2mm (.91-inches) at the thickest point and 16.6mm (.65-inches) at the thinnest. That's a little less impressive than the half-inch ultrabooks we saw last month, but go any slimmer and you'll probably have to give up the DVD burner — Fujitsu claims this is the skinniest 13.3-inch laptop with an optical drive, and we haven't been able to find anything thinner. The SH76/E weighs in at 2.95lbs with a 13.7-hour battery and will be available in Japan only from October 21st.

The larger 15.6-inch AH family gets a six-hour battery and edge-to-edge glass over the display, while the desktops are updated with an Onkyo audio system. The entire FMV series gets a slew of power saving features and will be available in Japan on October 13th, with the exception of the SH76/E.
