Nikon has launched the iP-PJ Transfer app for the iPad, iPhone, and iPod Touch, which allows users to throw content directly to their Coolpix S1200pj — a camera with a built-in nanoprojector that was announced back in August. When paired, the devices are able to show still images, documents, and websites on a 60-inch projected screen, making it much easier for you to share your content on the go. It also opens up more functionality to the camera, which alone is only capable of showing your own photos, videos, and YouTube content.

The combination has its limitations — any images will be scaled down to the projector's native 1024x768 resolution, there's no mention of being able to stream videos yet, and you'll also need both devices to be joined to the same wireless network. While this is bound to only appeal to a small niche, it's a neat trick, and we're sure this is just what a few of you were hoping for.
