Japanese carrier NTT Docomo has been forced to pull Toshiba's Regza T-01D smartphones off the shelves after just one day of sales. The phone, which went on sale on November 18th in Japan, has been discovered to have a bug which disables the handset from making any actual calls. CNET Japan reported that in the first day of sales, Docomo moved 5,200 T-01D's, roughly 4.7 percent (245 units) of which could not make calls.

The Regza T-01D has a 1.2GHz dual core CPU, a 13.1 megapixel camera, a 4.3-inch LCD, and is water resistant. While Docomo has not said yet what caused the bug, or when a fix can be expected, the sales stoppage is expected to be temporary.
