Microsoft has released a 2.0.1 update to its Windows Phone 7 Connector application for the Mac that brings a smattering of new features and fixes, though it appears some issues are still outstanding. The new version adds custom ringtone syncing, full support for libraries from Apple's Aperture photo editing software, drag and drop file transfer, and localization for 13 new languages, amongst other tweaks. It's also meant to address an issue users have had syncing their devices to their Macs — namely, the mobile device and app lose their connection — but according to WPCentral the issue is still outstanding for some users. Microsoft has some troubleshooting tips on its support site, but if you want to see if the update fixes your connectivity issues outright, it's available for download now on the Mac App Store.
