Just days after the peripheral hits Japanese store shelves, Nintendo has announced US pricing and availability for the 3DS Circle Pad Pro. The analog-augmenting accessory is coming February 7th to GameStop for $19.99. (The press release implies exclusivity for the retailer, and neither Amazon nor Best Buy have a product listing here.) It'll be first compatible with Resident Evil Revelations, which is also slated for the 7th, and Metal Gear Solid 3D Snake Eater, on track for a Q1 2012 release.
The other bit of good 3DS news a (hopefully) solidified March 23rd release date for Kid Icarus: Uprising. The long-awaited title — the latest in the series since 1991's Kid Icarus: Of Myths and Monsters for Game Boy (that is, original Game Boy) — was showcased alongside the 3DS's unveiling back during E3 2010, but despite popping up at various Nintendo press events has so far eluded availability. And no, it's not Circle Pad Pro-compatible, so feel free to lose the bulky peripheral come March.
