Netflix's Android app got a makeover recently, and today the company's iPad equivalent has been updated with the same new look. The entire interface has been more optimized for touch input, relying on a scrolling collection of movie / TV posters laid out in horizontal strips by type. The streamlined design is much simpler, only offering a browse button at the top left for viewing specific categories, and a search bar on the right. Instead of displaying a version of the Netflix site when you click a title, relevant title information is shown in a pop-up along with similar offerings. From there, you can start watching immediately or add it to your instant queue. The app update is now available for free in the iTunes App Store; see the ins and outs of the new interface in our gallery below.
