The National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences, keeper of the Grammy awards, has decided to bestow a Trustees Award on Steve Jobs for his contribution to the music industry — the academy says that Jobs "revolutionized the industry and how music was distributed and purchased" with the iPod and iTunes. The Trustees Award goes to non-musicians who've contributed to the recording business, and prior winners include Walt Disney and Les Paul. Jobs will be honored February 12th at the 54th annual Grammy award ceremony.
