Hulu today announced Face Match, a new feature that allows viewers to hover their cursor over an actor's face in a video to find out their name and other background information. You can enable the feature on Hulu's full site (no embed support) in the little gear icon at the bottom right of the video window, but it's still in beta, so you'll only be able to turn it on while watching full episodes of Glee, The Office, Wilfred, Modern Family, or Lost. We've tested it out and it's pretty neat, though there are some shortcomings — it only seems to work when actors are directly facing the camera, and you're only going to be able to nab the identity of major characters (we couldn't pick out extras). Hulu says it plans to expand the amount of shows with Face Match as it continues to roll it out, but there's no specific timeline as of yet.
