If you're digging the Bold 9900's touchscreen + QWERTY combination but aren't quite as fond of its larger footprint, the Bold 9790 might be just the device for you. BGR has managed to acquire the updated Bold 9700, which adds in a 5 megapixel camera, 8GB of internal storage, a 1.2GHz processor, and even NFC. The publication also speculates that it could very well launch before year's end, and possibly even next month. Of course we'll keep an ear out for more information — and an eye on the trusty FCC database — so stay tuned as we watch RIM launch yet another BlackBerry that doesn't run QNX. Colt can't come soon enough.
