The Android smartphone with a name so long it needs a comma in the middle is now ready to order. Sprint’s Samsung Galaxy S II Epic 4G Touch can be purchased on the carrier’s web store and should be showing up in your local brick-and-mortar outlet as well. It’s an enlarged version of the Galaxy S II that’s been gracing Europe for a few months now, featuring a 4.5-inch Super AMOLED Plus screen and a correspondingly bigger battery, at 1,800mAh. WiMAX connectivity is the other major distinguishing feature for the Epic 4G Touch, while the 1.2GHz dual-core Exynos processor, 8-megapixel camera, WVGA resolution, and 16GB of built-in storage all match the base Galaxy S II spec. The price is your typical $199.99 plus a two-year contractual commitment.
