The seven-inch TouchPad Go (codenamed "Opal") was reportedly just weeks away from shipping before HP suddenly decided to kill off webOS hardware entirely, and it appears a few units made it out into the wild -- check out these photos that popped up on a Chinese forum last night from a poster who claims he's had one for three months. Everything matches up exactly with the FCC entry that hit last month and what we've heard and seen of the Opal in the past, so it definitely seems legit. Of note, the screen appears to have a 4:3 aspect ratio, which is pretty novel on a seven-inch tablet, and the poster claims it's the same 1024 x 768 resolution as the larger TouchPad, which we've definitely heard before as well. The similarities to the larger model continue internally, with the same 1.5GHz APQ8060 Snapdragon processor, 16GB of storage, and front and rear cameras -- but it also has what sounds like an NFC module, which is interesting. In fact, it's all very intriguing -- too bad HP killed this thing before it ever had a shot.
