The $300 Motorola Bionic a bit too pricey for you? Verizon's fleshing out its LTE menagerie with its cheapest 4G offering yet: the $99.99 Pantech Breakout. The 4-inch device doesn't have a dual-core processor like the Bionic but it does pack a 1GHz processor, Android 2.3, a front-facing VGA cam, and a 5-megapixel rear shooter capable of 720p capture. Not too shabby for $100 (after a $50 mail in rebate) and a two-year contract, though we can't say this looks like the most attractive device around. It should be in stores starting this Thursday, September 22nd -- hit the source link for more information and the break for a few more images.
