Amazon has announced it has reached a licensing agreement with Twentieth Century Fox to bring instant streaming films and television shows to Amazon Prime members free of charge by the end of this fall. The deal brings Amazon's total number of streaming movies and shows to over 11,000, and adds the company to current partners such as CBS, NBC, Sony, and Warner Bros.
The deal with Fox will bring movies such as Mrs. Doubtfire and Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, and tv shows like The X-Files to Prime Members. The announcement came quickly on the heels of Netflix's announcement
