What can $80 or so on contract get you in BlackBerrys these days? I just spent some time with RIM's new BlackBerry Curve 9360 to find out. While it runs BlackBerry OS 7 and has a faster processor than its predecessor, it still lacks a touchscreen -- which means it can be a bit of a chore to navigate the OS, with only the trackpad to work with. The good news is that the phone is very responsive, the screen is nice to look at despite its small size and low resolution (2.44-inch, 480 x 360), and RIM couldn't make a bad keyboard even if it tried. In a way, the Curve isn't as threatened by the technological dead end of OS 7 as its big brothers, since this phone is all about being cheap and relatively disposable. Besides, OS 7 looks pretty, even if you can't touch it. There's photos and video of the device after the break.
