Cerevo, the Tokyo-based camera and equipment company, has announced that it is bringing its LiveShell audio / video streaming solution to the United States via Contour, "the market leader in hands-free video cameras and adventure storytelling tools." Available in Japan for a while now, the device accepts HDMI, stereo microphone, and line level inputs, and broadcasts to Ustream (or other supported services). Connectivity is supplied via ethernet and 802.11b/g/n, configuration takes place via web-based dashboard, and it's mooted to run "more than three hours" on three AA batteries (or continuously with included AC adapter). Look for it February 1st from Contour’s online store for $299.
