Qualcomm CEO Paul Jacobs killed the first 5.7-inch Mirasol e-reader, but now it looks like the company's finally developed one that's good enough: it just showed off a new Hanvon-made Mirasol e-reader at its CES keynote that's destined for the Chinese market. Qualcomm says that the device can handle text and video, and that at least 90-percent of content for the new e-reader will be in color. We'll let you know as soon as we pick up details on specs, launch date, and pricing.
Hanvon's e-reader isn't the only one sporting Mirasol tech at CES this year — be sure to check out our hands-on of Bambook's Mirasol e-readers.
