Verizon has lopped $100 off from the 2-year contract price for the Droid RAZR, bringing it to $199.99. That price, however, also includes another cut: the previously included 16GB microSD card is no more. Given the price of microSD cards, we imagine most savvy users will have no problems with the price cut. Actually, we imagine savvy users will be willing to suffer through owning a phone that is just a tiny bit thicker. The Droid RAZR Maxx is launching on January 26th and claims a whopping 21 hours of talk time and 32GB of storage built-in before you even get into conversations about microSD cards.
If the extra $100 and extra battery life don't suit you, the white and purple versions of the original Droid RAZR are also getting the price cut — the purple color will be available on January 23rd.
