Not content with its users being able to share video from YouTube, their computer, or phone, Google+ yesterday added the option to record and share videos directly from a webcam. The update is live across Google+ and can be found via the 'Add Video' icon. It utilizes Flash for recording duties, and allows you to embed up to 15-minute clips in a post via a simple interface.
We gave the service a quick spin, and can report that it works flawlessly, although we would have liked to see some options to trim and edit videos once they've been recorded. Given Google Plus's rapid rate of evolution, it wouldn't be too outlandish to expect future additions to the service to come along in due course.
