Back in November, SoundCloud launched its first HTML5 widgets, saying that it was the second most requested feature behind a native iPad app. After a few months of testing, the company is ready to make HTML5 the default widget for sharing music from its site, as of today. There's also a few new features supported in HTML5: comments and likes. Commenting in particular is one of SoundCloud's more distinguishing features, so it's no surprise they waited until that was working properly before switching over to HTML5 as the default option. However, for those who just can't let Flash go, SoundCloud will continue to support it, though it didn't say for how long.
