It looks like the CES 2012 Innovation Power Panel will have to go on without Verizon's CEO, Lowell McAdam — the company just announced he will miss CES this year due to some scheduling conflicts. A Verizon spokesperson confirmed this to Reuters, saying that the company was looking in to sending another executive to the panel. We're willing to take Verizon's word at face value, though it is surprising to see him back out of an appearance at the industry's largest show — whatever's on his calendar now must be a big deal.
