Cat Life: ChatChat is a free browser-based MMO about cats. You can walk, meow, catch mice, purr, and talk with other feline users, all filtered through a Commodore 64-style graphical veneer. It's from Terry Cavanagh, the creator of torturous gravity-flipping indie platformer VVVVVV, and hasn't lost any of that game's throwback charm. Admittedly, growing up we never wished for an MMO about cats to come to our Commodore 64s, but that was mostly because we didn't know what an MMO was at the time — Cavanagh's alternate fork of history has now brought order to the world. Next on our wish list? Cat parkour.
