LG's bringing two "Super Ultrabooks" to CES this year, as well as two 3D laptops

LG's bringing its first two MacBook Air clones to CES 2012 this year, and it's going downright hyperbolic with the naming scheme: the previously-announced 13.3-inch Xnote Z330 and its larger 14-inch brother the Z430 will be "Super Ultrabooks" when they launch in the first quarter of 2012. We don't have prices yet, but on paper the ultrabooks sound generally like more of the same, with up-to-Core i7 Intel processors, integrated Intel graphics, 1366 x 768 resolution screens, a small array of ports and either an internal SSD or 500GB hard drive with optional SSD caching. Both, however, are exceptionally thin machines at 14.7mm and 19.9mm respectively, light at 2.67 and 3.3 pounds, and are deceptively small compared to their screens thanks to ultra-slim bezels. LG's fit the 13.3-inch screen into a 12-inch laptop footprint, and the 14-inch screen into a 13-incher's chassis.

The company's also bringing the P535 and A540 laptops to CES, each with 15.6-inch 3D screens, the latter of which can be equipped with an 1080p film-pattern retarder polarized display, a 1080p IPS screen for wide viewing angles, or even a glasses-free screen. Find full specs at our source link, as well as those of LG's V300 3D all-in-one that the company introduced (without a US release date) earlier this year.
