We had a good idea the Galaxy Note would soon be making an appearance on AT&T when we saw an image of the device emblazoned with the carrier's logo. Now there's even more evidence of an impending release after accessory vendor Anymode seems to have prematurely announced itself as an OEM partner for the Note's launch on AT&T. In a CES Media Alert, the company announces plans to exhibit its accessories at CES, which leads us to believe that Ma Bell will be making its plans official in Las Vegas come next week. The release also confirms that the Samsung device is currently set to become available in "early 2012." We'll start stretching our pockets accordingly.

Update: We've received a retraction from Anymode, which states that the earlier announcement "contained inaccurate information pertaining to AT&T and the release of the Samsung Galaxy Note." It goes on to say that "the information was not provided by Anymode, AT&T or Samsung, nor did Anymode, AT&T or Samsung approve it. The issuing party apologizes for the publishing of the inaccurate information and any inconvenience it may have caused." That sounds to us more or less like the PR company is falling on its sword after getting the release out early, but we'll take it at face value and try to forget that the original announcement was ever made.
