German tech site Mobile Geeks has posted an image and spec sheet for what it claims to be the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S III mini. The Galaxy S III mini will have the model number GT-i8190 and is styled in a similar fashion to the original Galaxy S III, although it'll evidently be far smaller than the flagship model. It'll run the latest version of Android, Jelly Bean, and will have a 4-inch Super AMOLED display; the lack of a "+" at the end of "AMOLED" indicates it's likely to have a PenTile sub-pixel arrangement. Inside it's said to have a ST-Ericsson U8420 1Ghz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, and 16GB of internal storage. Other specs include a microSD slot, 5-megapixel camera, front-facing camera, NFC, and a 1,500mAh battery.
The site says it trusts its anonymous source "110 percent," but as Samsung has confirmed that the Galaxy S III mini will be announced at an event in Germany tomorrow, we'll know for sure how accurate Mobile Geeks' information is soon enough.
