Android Central has uploaded pictures of a new 5-inch 1080p device for Verizon called the HTC DLX. The leak comes days after HTC officially unveiled a similarly proportioned phone for the Japanese market, the J Butterfly. We've heard whispers about a 5-inch flagship coming from HTC for months now, culminating in the release of a limited spec sheet by xda-developers member Football, who has a reputation for releasing accurate details about upcoming devices. According to the spec sheet, the HTC DLX will run Android 4.1 Jelly Bean with a Snapdragon S4 1.5GHz quad-core processor, 1.5GB RAM, 16GB of internal storage, a 12-megapixel camera, and a 2,500mAh battery. However, today's leaked pictures show the amount of RAM as 2GB, and only refer to the processor as an unnamed "quadcore."
Apart from the images, there's not much more to go on here; a 4G LTE logo adorns the back, but for a Verizon device that was a given. We'll have to wait for HTC or Verizon to officially announce the DLX, but for the time being, as leaks go, this one seems legit. There are more photos of the HTC DLX at the source link below.
