After a lengthy rivalry, The Daily Show's Jon Stewart and FOX News' Bill O'Reilly will trade blows in a "comedic and entertaining" debate, which will be broadcast exclusively online. "O'Reilly vs. Stewart 2012: The Rumble in the Air-Conditioned Auditorium" will take place on Saturday, October 6th, and those looking to watch from home will be able stream the event to for a fee of $4.95. The stream will only be available on the event's official website, and prospective viewers have the option of pre-ordering or purchasing access when things kick off at 8:00pm EST.

Although the video player is only accessible through a web browser, the organizers are encouraging users to use their Roku, Apple TV, Boxee Box, or Google TV-enabled device to watch it on their home HDTV. Those with a Roku can view the stream through a dedicated "The Rumble 2012" channel, while Apple TV users can share video with their TV from an iPhone, iPad, or Mac via AirPlay. Those who purchase access will be able to stream the event to three devices simultaneously and will be able to download or re-watch the recording after the debate concludes. According to the website, half of the proceeds will be distributed to "a number of charitable causes."
