Nokia has introduced a new beta version of its Transport app for Windows Phone. Version 2.3 of the app includes prioritized transport, with public transit pushed to the top of destination lists. Nokia has also modified the information displayed in the journey planner, with more distinct icons shown for different transit options as well as points-of-interest. Previous destinations can now be pulled up by swiping from the left or right from the start screen of the app, giving users quicker accessibility.

The Finnish smartphone manufacturer says that the latest beta is available now, although some users may see a minor publishing delay to the Windows Phone Store. The app is compatible with the Lumia 900, 800, 710, and 610, with Nokia noting that it will also be made available for the Lumia 920 and 820 when they’re eventually released.
